I’m currently working as a Security Engineer at Global Environmental Consulting (GEC), where I focus on strengthening our systems through secure design and practical solutions. I’ve had the opportunity to work across different areas from computer support and SOC operations to cloud security and compliance which has given me a well-rounded view of how technology and security come together in the real world.
I’ve always been curious about how things work and even more interested in making them work better. I enjoy challenges and see every problem as an opportunity to learn something new. Outside of day-to-day security work, I like building tools and automating processes to make systems more efficient and people’s work a little easier.

- ▸At GEC, I focus on building a stronger and more resilient security environment across both our cloud infrastructure. I helped in developing a complete incident response process that ensures we can detect, contain, and respond to threats in a structured and time-efficient way. I lead SOC 2 Type II audit which gave me the opportunity to strengthen our compliance posture and bring more transparency to our internal controls.
- ▸I also introduced a new change management workflow that tracks every modification with clear approvals, helping teams stay accountable while minimizing risks from unplanned changes. Working closely with the cloud team, I optimized several workloads and resource groups in Azure, which helped reduce our overall cloud cost by about 15%. One of my major contribution is to design and implement highly reliable, available and secure solution by integrating Azure Front Door to our web applications.
- ▸Most of my work revolves around Azure Sentinel, Defender for Cloud, Intune, Logic Apps, and Intruder, which I use to automate alert handling, streamline reporting, and maintain consistent visibility across the environment.

- ▸At ASU, I handle a mix of technical support and security responsibilities for the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences. A big part of my role is keeping systems running smoothly while ensuring they stay secure and compliant with university standards. I manage devices and configurations and work closely with faculty and students to troubleshoot issues that range from network access to system permissions.
- ▸It’s a role that keeps me connected to both the technical and human sides of IT fixing problems, securing systems, and helping people stay productive. It also gives me a front-row view of how security practices play out in a large academic environment where collaboration and flexibility are key.
Visiting Faculty

- ▸I had the chance to return to Ganpat University as a visiting faculty member, teaching networking and data structures. Teaching was an entirely different kind of challenge it made me slow down, rethink how I explain concepts, and really understand them from the learner’s perspective. I enjoyed creating real-world examples and lab sessions that connected theory with practical application.
- ▸It was also rewarding to guide students who were just beginning their journey into cybersecurity and technology. That experience gave me a new appreciation for mentorship and the impact of strong fundamentals in this field.
SOC Analyst Intern
Infopercept - Ahmedabad, Gujarat

- ▸My time at Infopercept was my first hands-on experience in a real SOC environment. I learned how to analyze alerts, respond to incidents, and understand what a “normal” day in a security operations center actually feels like. I spent most of my time working with SIEM tools, tuning detections, and exploring how attackers think so we could stay one step ahead.
- ▸That internship helped me build a solid foundation in monitoring, incident response, and investigation and it’s where I realized that defensive security was the path I genuinely wanted to pursue.

- ▸Developed a solution to keep track of all role assignment changes and role assignments in Azure Entra ID environments.

- ▸Built a neural network-based password generator using Recurrent Neural Networks (RNN).
- ▸Created secure, memorable passwords that avoid common patterns and dictionary attacks.

- ▸Developed a steganography application for hiding sensitive data within image files.
- ▸Implemented advanced cryptographic algorithms for secure data embedding and extraction processes.
